Splash Nepal agreed MOU with Bottlers Nepal Limited (BNL), Balaju to support WASH infrastructures for two schools namely; Siddhi Ganesh Secondary School and Shree Bal Kalyan Basic School in Kathmandu in September 2018.
Water, Sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) in school is essential, as all students learn from the school. Splash Nepal assisted the school with new automatic ultra-filtration, drinking stations, and handwashing stations. The project regarding BNL also focused necessity of toilets and elevated storage systems in Bal Kalyan Basic School. This school was found lacking behind the sanitation and qualitative drinking water facility quantitatively. So, the provision of purified water and toilet was facilitated in the school area.
Similarly, in February 2020, Jana Jagriti Gyan Rashmi Secondary School and Shree Kankeshwori Basic School have presented the happiest gratitude towards the donor agency BNL and implementing partners-Splash Nepal for the WASH project.
School Administration and School Management Committee appreciated the support for the school and wished for a better relationship in the coming days.
